TTD temples in city gear up for Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan

Hyderabad: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Himayathnagar , Jubileehills temple management, is making elaborate arrangements for the convenience of devotees visiting the temple on Tuesday on the auspicious occasion Vaikunta Ekadasi.
The temple management is facilitating Sarva darshan for the devotees since 1 am early on Tuesday. The darshan would continue till 10 pm with short breaks in the day for performing the daily rituals and sevas for Lord Venkateswara, said TTD Himayathnagar Local Advisory Committee (LAC) president N Shankar Goud at a press conference on Sunday at TTD Kalyana Mandapam in Himayathnagar.
To avoid inconvenience to the devotees, VIPs and other guests would be provided darshan from 1 am to 6 am on Tuesday. This would ensure that Sarva Darshan devotees visiting the temple during the day were not subjected to any inconvenience, he said.
"Even as the lord's darshan commences at 1 am on Tuesday early morning, all the sevas, including Ekantham, Thomala seva and sudhi and ekantham at 10 pm in the night, will be conducted as per the schedule," Shankar Goud said. The temple management said last year nearly 25,000 devotees had visited the temple for darshan on Vaikunta Ekadasi.
